Professional fishing on the Loire is a little-known profession. Join us on a boat trip to discover this age-old craft and the wild Loire, where we work!
The trips are led by Romain GADAIS or one of his crew members. We have two boats: a traditional flat-bottomed fishing boat, “Beau la folie”, and a covered Loire boat, “Rose des vents”.

Loire discovery cruise
Discover the Loire on a guided trip with one of our fishermen. Learn about the river’s wildlife, plants, history and navigation. PLEASE NOTE: trips require at least 4 passengers. You may join another group. Private hire is not available.
Duration: 1 hour.
Price: €15 per adult, €9 per child aged 12 and under.
Fishing trip and tasting
Discover the work of a professional fisherman! Help haul in the nets, then visit our processing workshop and smokehouse. Enjoy a tasting of Loire fish rillettes accompanied by one glass of wine or local fruit juice. Private hire is not available.
Duration: 3 hours.
Price: €70 per adult, €40 per child aged 12 and under.
Departures at 9 am, Wednesday to Saturday.
Aperitif on the water
Enjoy an aperitif on the Loire, served with a sharing platter from the fisheries: smoked fish, fish rillettes, cured meat, pickles and hummus, plus two glasses per person of local wine or juice. PLEASE NOTE: trips require at least 4 passengers. Private hire is not available.
Duration: 2 hours.
Price: €50 per adult, €35 per child aged 12 and under.
Departures at 10 am and 5 pm.
Gourmet cruise
Enjoy a guided trip on the Loire with one of our fishermen and a delicious picnic basket prepared by our chef, Ambroise VOREUX. PLEASE NOTE: trips require at least 4 passengers. Private hire is not available.

Price: €80 per adult, €60 per child aged 12 and under.
Departures at noon and 7 pm.
